Kelly: I KNIT TWELVE SWEATERS IN TWO WEEKS!!
Doug: What? That can’t be right.
Kelly: But I used ALL CAPS and two exclamation points!!! That means it’s true.
Doug: But Kelly, consider the photographic evidence…
Kelly: Photographic evidence?
Doug: Yes. Here is a photo of your knitting from the past two weeks:
Kelly: Exactly. Twelve sweaters!
Doug: I see two sleeves and around six inches of the body. That amounts to about 30% of a sweater. It’s not even close to 12 sweaters.
Kelly: Oh! Now I see the problem, Doug. This photograph is taken against a white background.
Kelly: And the other eleven and a half sweaters are white! They blend in to the background so you can’t see them!
Lovely! You cheered me up this Monday morning Kelly. I think I know what you’re going through – I just knitted the yoke portion of a jumper, it took me ten days and all I feel is frustration that I couldn’t get it done faster. I blame the internet.
This cracked me up! I definitely *think* I can knit twelve sweaters in two weeks … and keep adding to the list of ones I’m going to start ..
Haha! This is great!
By the way – I think I can count only 11 sweaters there 😉
Imagine if we could knit as many sweaters as we WANTED to knit, how many projects would be stacked up. (white ones, of course).
This is perfect!!!!!
I did enhance the image to see the others sweaters …. cute!
HA! Thanks for the bit of levity 🙂

Hilarious ! (Trumplethinskin, the destructive liar, wouldn’t even see the joke.)
So cute! There is no doubt that you are an optimist, Kelly ….. you definitely need a rest after completing so many creations over the past 12 months!
